“Being part of the Top 20 allows me to challenge myself unlike anything else in Australia”
Rarely seen out of high heels, Talia is a lady in every sense. Since she began training in ballet, jazz and tap aged 3, Talia has had an inspiring and enviable career as a ballerina. Selected to compete in Prix de Lausanne age 15, an international dance competition for young people, Talia was one of two Australian dancers to make it to the semi-finals, making her one of the top 23 young classical dancers in the world. She was also a semi-finalist at the Genee International Ballet Competition in Hong Kong.
Talia has also been a member of the Queensland Ballet Company for three years, two years training and one as a member, the youngest they have ever accepted. Despite her obvious talent, Talia is yet to find a company where she can be true to herself, a company that she fits into completely.
Talia is confident SYTYCDA is the dance family she’s been looking for.
