Summer is coming to an end. The light is changing and the days are becoming shorter. But while the massive crowds may have backed off a little, the blue bottles haven’t.
A giant swarm of the stingers hit Bondi, leaving beachgoers in pain and distress. Lifeguards are stretched as they must literally treat hundreds of men, women, and children.
In the water, a surfboard has washed ashore without a rider. Surfers report they’d seen a man riding the board just moments earlier, but now he seems to have vanished. The jetski begins the search, while lifeguards query people on shore. Eventually the chopper is called – lifeguards may have a body retrieval to do.
With the season coming to a close, the trainees are eager to find out how their performances have been perceived by the bosses. Dunstan and Maxy make their way to head lifeguard Hoppo’s office. The head man has good news… But only for one of them.
