What do a journalist, an AFL Player and Miss Universe Australia contestant have in common? A love of cooking namely, and because of this, they are this week’s competitors on Celebrity MasterChef.
George Negus has travelled to the deepest, darkest corners of the world and has tried all sort of weird and wonderful cuisines, however Italian firmly remains his favourite. He believes he has mastered the risotto and has tweaked it to bring his own special touch to it. But will our judges Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan & George Calombaris share his same enthusiasm for his signature risotto dish?
Australian beauty, Rachael Finch, has proven to be more than just a pretty face, but can her cooking skills match her looks and personality? Fiercely determined and prepared, Rachael takes to the MasterChef Kitchen like it’s her second home. But how will she cope when she’s faced with a recipe she has never seen or attempted before in the Pressure Test?
Ryan O’Keefe proves that AFL is not all about meat pies and sausage rolls when he showcases his own, home-made pasta on Celebrity MasterChef. As a player with the Sydney Swans, Ryan leads a very active lifestyle but he always makes time to whip up something in his kitchen. But will he be able to cope with the pressure in the MasterChef Kitchen when Matt Preston breathes down his neck and Gary and George question his every move?
In addition to the signature dish challenge, the three contestants will face a Pressure Test, where they will have to replicate one of Tony Bilson’s intricate recipes.
