Promotion of Freeview will ramp up over summer with the latest on-air campaign to start next week. Filming for the promotions wrapped up earlier this week in Tamworth, with Sydney and Kiama also featuring in the campaign.
There will be an emphasis on the new multichannel offerings GO! and 7 Two as well as the soon-to-be launched ABC3 and will be heavily promoted during the sports packed schedules of Channels Nine & Seven in January.
It is unknown whether the promotions for regional NSW and Victoria will feature references to 7 Two as Seven’s regional affiliate Prime Television are yet to announce their intentions for the new multichannel.
One would think that promotion in areas that do not have access to the multi channels including Prime’s coverage area would only enrage viewers more than they already are.
