Sharp and slick, White Collar is about an unlikely partnership that forms between two men that were once arch enemies.
The odd couple at the centre of this series are a con-man and a cop. The former is Neal Caffrey, a handsome, suave criminal mastermind who has made millions in the world of fraud. The latter is the man who caught him, meticulous FBI Agent Peter Burke.
The two are paired when Caffrey inexplicably escapes from his maximum security prison a mere months before his scheduled release. Burke, the man who’s done it before, is drafted in to bring this charming player back to jail.
Catching up with him, the two form an unusual arrangement.
Burke agrees to keep Caffrey out of jail, on the condition that Caffrey in turn agrees to help the FBI track some of the most elusive white collar criminals in the world.
Caffrey is rewarded with his freedom, all be it with the tight restriction of an ankle bracelet, and Burke gets a new partner.
