In Episode Two of Bondi Vet, Dr Chris receives a late night emergency call to meet police at the clinic.
On arriving at the clinic, he is confronted by a bizarre and shocking act of cruelty. A 12 year old cat has been deliberately dumped in the Bondi surf and left to drown. With the cats lungs filled with sea water, infection and phenomena become its immediate dangers. Has this unlucky cat used up all his nine lives?
Dr Chris is forced to make a house call on a pampered parrot that is slowly going bald. Harry is a depressed parrot caught in a bizarre love triangle.
Harry loves Chrissy but Chrissy is married to John. Harry’s jealousy drives him to attack males and it seems he has a personal vendetta against John. Playing pet detectives, Dr Chris and Chrissy set up a sting in order to get to the bottom of Harry’s aggressive behaviour and feather loss. You won’t believe what Dr Chris prescribes to cure Harry of his self mutilation and jealousy.
Meanwhile at the Bondi referral hospital – SASH – emergency vet Dr Lisa must take drastic action to try and help a beautiful Samoyed survive a killer tick bite.
The 11-month old, Polar, has lost all control of his back legs and in order to find the tick Dr Lisa is forced to give Polar a number one hair cut and administer anti-serum in the hope of neutralising the tick’s poison.
Unfortunately Dr Lisa can’t locate the tick and Polar is progressively getting worse. Will she be able to locate it in time to save Polar from paralysis?
