9am-2pm (8am-1pm QTQ) – VANCOUVER LIVE

Ken Sutcliffe presents live coverage of all the action from the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, Canada. Today’s events may include:

Men’s Aerials final
Up on Cypress Mountain the top 12 qualifiers resume their quest for gold. Each one will have two jumps and be ranked by their combined score. Australian hopeful Dave Morris needs to strike his best form to make the final. The favourites are Ryan St Onge (USA) and Steve Omischl (Canada).

Women’s Ice Hockey: Gold Medal Game
Two teams will descend upon Canada Hockey Place carrying the hopes and dreams of their countries into the gold medal play-off. Canada entered the competition with something to prove after their loss to the USA at the world championships. Will this be the revenge showdown the Canadians have hoped for?

Figure Skating: Women’s free program
Figure skating is the oldest sport in the Winter Olympics and one of the most popular events on the program. Watch the world’s best women perform a free routine comprising 12 elements and lasting around four breathtaking minutes. Expect big performances from South Korea’s Kim Yu-Na and Japan’s Mao Asada. Both missed the 2006 Winter Olympics because they were too young to compete. Anticipation of their appearance in Vancouver has been building ever since. Kim won the world title in 2009 and Asada was world champion in 2008. Don’t discount the USA who have medalled at every Games since 1968. Sasha Cohen, their 2006 Olympic silver medallist, has planned her return to the arena after three years away from the sport.

Curling: Men’s and Women’s semi-finals
It’s like lawn bowls on ice and it’s one of the world’s fastest growing winter sports. Catch all the curling semi-final action live from the Vancouver Olympic Centre as teams of four players slide heavy, polished granite stones down a sheet of ice towards a target called the “house”. Canada has won a medal in each men’s and women’s curling event since the sport returned to the Olympic program in 1998. Will 2010 be their year again?

Women’s Ice Hockey: Bronze Medal Game
Ice hockey is fast, fluid, frequently ferocious and the most exciting of all winter team sports. Two countries will play off for third place in the women’s competition. Could an outsider take the bronze?
