Late Night Changes on GO! From May 17

GO is giving back some of those late night repeats that were taken away when the channel started airing Home Shopping from 2am – 4am weekday mornings.

From Monday May 17, the show that airs at 8.30pm on Monday to Thursday nights will be replayed at 12 midnight while the show that airs at 9.30pm will be seen again at 1am. Frasier, Seinfeld and TMZ repeats that currently fill the timeslots from 11.30 – 1am will now be out. At 11.30pm Mon- Thurs, South Park will be on.

Using Monday night as an example, the program will look like this:

8.30 Vampire Diaries
9.30 Nip/Tuck
10.30 TBA
11.30 South Park
12.00 Vampire Diaries
1.00 Nip/Tuck
2.00 Home Shopping

Having the extra repeats back will mean better flexibility in viewing or recording and allows prime time conflicts to be better managed. This is on top of many repeats during the day as well. Vampire Diaries for example is repeated at 1pm Wednesday May 19.

On the subject of Vampire Diaries, May 17 is the final episode of that show’s first season. A second season has been commissioned, premiering in the US later in the year. Meanwhile Fringe will have its season two final on Wednesday May 26, while Wipeout UK moves in to an 8 episode third season on Tuesday May 18. The final Wipeout UK will air Thursday May 27 at 6.30pm.
