Foxtel Movie Channels for Free for two weeks in July

Form July 11 to 25, the two movie packages on Foxtel will be available to all residential Foxtel subscribers for free.

With channels from both the Movie Network package and Showtime Movie package, a total of 16 channels will be on offer.

Foxtel do this once a year to tempt subscribers to add the packages to their channel line up once the free period concludes.

The free two weeks comes as new season of the locally produced series Tangle premieres on Showcase and critically acclaimed series Treme – based on New Orleans after Katrina – premieres on Showcase during those two weeks.

Those who already have the movie packages will not be part of the offer. If you have one but not the other, the one you don’t have will be seen for free.

The free period will not include those Showtime channels in HD – you’ll still need to pay the extra for HD.

Tangle season two premieres on Showcase Tuesday July 20, 8.30pm while Treme premieres Wednesday July 14, 8.30pm on Showcase.
