Ratings Sunday June 13, 2010
The long weekend effect sees Underbelly score its lowest ratings of the series so far, and Masterchef short of its current average, down to 1,665,000 but still the top show for the night. More people watched Merlin then 60 Minutes while Sunday Night continued to perform strongly winning the 6.30pm timeslot.
Movies don’t do well on Sunday nights these days as Forgetting Sarah Marshall barely scraped 600,000 viewers – probably not that bad considering the timeslot was “to be advised” until Tuesday. Same again for next Sunday. Another movie no doubt.
As a result, Seven only made second place by 0.2% over Ten, thanks to their pre-8.30 strength. Meanwhile SBS is enjoying higher shares, thanks to the soccer.
GO yet again outrated all other mutli channels combined with Big Bang Theory its most watched show of the night. Repeats of Packed to the Rafters are not helping 7TWO with shares remaining around the 2% that channel normally achieves.
Nine won the night convincingly despite lower Underbelly and 60 Minutes figures. Combining GO to the network share put Nine and GO over 6% ahead of Seven and 7% ahead of Ten networks.
Shares:
1 Nine 24.8% (network 29.9%)
