9:25pm – Thursday, July 1 on ABC2
Thursday, 1 July 2010 A helpless whale is stranded on a New Zealand beach and is subjected to often pointless, but always comical conversations with a variety of passing wildlife.
In this second series, there’s a bunch of new characters that cross his path, including a nudity- embracing sea slug; a home-swapping hermit crab; koalas with a sensitivity to being called ‘bears’; and two blind, break-dancing crabs.
This week, a thumbless walrus turns to his best mate, a coconut, to finally get the whale off the beach.
