7:35pm – Tuesday, July 13 on ABC3
The Tribe has been rediscovered by a new generation of kids on ABC3 proving that a good story never gets old. The screening of series 3 is a topic that generates pages of discussion on ABC3′s message board and facebook page. And why shouldn’t it? This program is the stuff dreams are made of for most children. Now ABC3 is giving Australian kids what they have been asking for… The Tribe Series 3.
The series follows a group of teenagers searching for answers about a deadly virus that has wiped out all the adults on earth. With no adults to guide, rule or protect them, the children of the world are on their own. Living in a world of anarchy, confusion, danger and fear the children must do all they can to survive. The series begins with the various tribes being held hostage by The Chosen, a tribe striving for absolute control and power.
Episode 1 After the accident, Lt. Luke (Jacob Tomuri) and a few others from The Chosen are led to believe that Lex (Caleb Ross) and Bray (Dwayne Cameron) are dead. Ebony (Meryl Cassie), realising that both Lex and Bray are still alive, drags them into the woods. Ebony and Lex hide an injured Bray in the bushes, but when they return they realise that he has disappeared. Tai- San (Michelle Ang) refuses to bow down to The Chosen so the Guardian (Damon Andrews) refuses to let the other Mall Rats eat until she does so. Meanwhile, Salene (Victoria Spence) storms off after Ryan (Ryan Runciman) who asks her if the baby is the only reason she married him. The Mall Rats learn that all the other tribal leaders are being killed. Will The Chosen spare Danni (Ella Wilks), the leader of the Mall Rats?
