In the one-on-one interview, Bert talks of his love for his son and his failure to recognise any of the warning signs that led to the alleged events in Rome.
Patti tells Tracy that Matthew has always had issues controlling his temper, a problem that she believes exacerbated when he fell in with what she describes as “the wrong people.”
The Newtons also address reports that have suggested Matthew proposed to Taylor while in Rome.
