On the season finale of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, Ted sees a movie based on his break-up with Stella; and Marshall and Lily make a secret pact to start trying to have a baby when they finally see Barney’s doppelganger.
When Ted takes a date to see a new hit movie, “The Wedding Bride,” he is shocked to learn the story is loosely based on his break-up with Stella. It’s written by Tony, the man Stella left him for at the altar. But in the movie, Ted is portrayed as a total jerk, Stella is the victim and Tony her saviour.
Meanwhile, Robin finally gets an offer for her dream job, but it means relocating to Chicago.
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER stars JOSH RADNOR as Ted, NEIL PATRICK HARRIS as Barney, ALYSON HANNIGAN as Lily, COBIE SMULDERS as Robin and JASON SEGEL as Marshall, with BOB SAGET as the narrator.
