Hey,

Congratulations on making it to the top 12, how does it feel?

Indescribable.

What’s been the most rewarding part of the journey so far?

Recognition

And the toughest part?

Getting five hours to sleep and learn a new song. Also witnessing the pain of those who get knocked back.

When did you start performing and what spurred you on to apply for the show?

I started performing in school at about the age of 13. After 2 years of not singing or performing, my father asked me to try for the show as a favor to him.

Have you bonded with any of the other contestants? What’s brought you together?

Of course. The common pain and joy has brought us together. And with others, our common beliefs.

Who’s your favorite judge and why?

Ronan. He’s all soul. He’s still very in touch with the human in him. He hasn’t lost himself.

Which artist inspires you and why?

Prince. His voice. His guts. His songwriting. His moves. His style. Very few can compare.

Why do you have the x factor?

Because I’m a puppet to the music.

So fast forward in time. You are the x factor winner. Describe what happens next?

A beautiful album is released.

    Love your voice, your moves and think that you have the xfactor mate, keep doing what your doing because you deserve it. Yeah the others can sing but you have the whole package. Can’t wait till Sunday night and see you preform remember Dragi Bog is  there with you all the way.

    I tried to vote on the 1st of november for  at least 10 times between the hours of 1030 until 1145 am with no avail.At 1155 I was able to get through to the message bank with the message that voting had ceased .

    Whilst I was pleased that Ayrean went through,I thought that the whole idea that I could vote, was that I could have a say . yet that right  was taken away from me .Can you please explain why this happened and how can it be avoided next time?

    Altiyan you are a fantastic performer and I really think you deserve to win. Was wondering if you ever thought of doing any Tom Waits songs. He does quite a few that would suit your voice and style, especially his early stuff. All the best mate nannasharon.

    Alt, You are awesome. I am a 53 year old mum of 2 and think you certainly have the X factor.  My dad was a professional singer, always singing around the house and I think you definitely have that something.  You have heart and heart in singing is the X factor.  If for some reason you do not win this comp, you are still a winner. Dont lose heart, go for it boy, do not stop singing. YOUR dad is right.  Sing and keep on singing= you have it.  Everyone is a fruit loop, Kyle is the biggest fruit loop ever.  You are old enough now and surely have the confidence after this to keep going.  You are so good. Good luck in the future. I do hope you win. Best of luck.  I never normally vote for this sort of comp but for some reason I have voted every week for you.  It is your beautiful inner self and heart.

    Hi Altiyan, you have what it take’s to be the x-factor winner not only can you sing your moves everything you put into your performance comes from your heart, I love watching you every week and Ronan what a mentor he’s been for you, wnet to Parramatta to hear you sing and no one would’ve been disappointed..

    Bring on the final I cant wait your my choice by far, hoping that ronan & yourself will make a duet..

    Hi Altiyan,

    You have been my vote all the way through but I couldn’t believe it when I got to watch last weeks show (on thursday after returning to Aus). The first words “I wasn’t there that morning, when my father passed away”… see I had just returned from my fathers funeral overseas which is why i recorded the show. I had been here when he died. Thank you, I had the good cry I needed. Good luck for tomorrow and I wish you well for the future.

    Altiyan – No other celebrity has EVER moved me like you have.  I feel deeply connected to you (which is crazy I know) and I can’t stop thinking about you.  I’m married, 2 small kids and live in a small town in the outback (population 400) so you life is so different to mine.
