Yep, Australia’s Got Talent will be back in 2011 – and why wouldn’t it, given the number of people who watched the show in 2010. AGT will visit 16 cities across Australia, in search of new talent for the 2011 show, which will air on Seven early 2011.
Channel Seven’s hit entertainment program Australia’s Got Talent is back on the road in its biggest talent search ever undertaken.
Australia’s Got Talent will visit a massive 16 cities, including many in regional Australia, searching for the most unique and talented performers of any age and any skill.
2010 was a phenomenal year for Australia’s Got Talent with winners Justice Crew dancing their way to a $250,000 grand prize, a sold out national tour and an exclusive contract with Sony Entertainment.
Runner up, 42-year-old singer/songwriter Cameron Henderson also charmed the nation together with his son Taylor who came third in the competition.
They showed it was all in the family on the huge grand final show, which was watched by over 2.2 million Australians. Father and son still sing together and tomorrow will perform at the AFL Grand Final in front of the 90,000 stadium crowd and millions of TV fans across the country.
These are the dreams neither Justice Crew nor the Henderson’s could ever have imagined just 6 months ago!
This year, the auditions aim to find even more unique, exceptional undiscovered talent, no matter what it may be. AGT is looking for solo acts, group performances, singers, dancers, instrumentalists, illusionists, circus and stunt acts, comedians, novelty acts, animal acts, child performers – absolutely anyone doing absolutely anything. Whether amateur, professional or somewhat dubious – the doors are open to everyone!
