The Nine Network’s CyberShack TV is looking for a fresh face to join the team of on-air presenters for its new season, due to premiere in October.
According to the show’s executive producer and long-time host, Charlie Brown, the person chosen needs to be fun-loving, enthusiastic, and able to convey a love of new technology.
“We want to throw our net as far and wide as possible to make sure the person we find is the perfect fit. Whoever gets the job will be following in the footsteps of Erin McNaught and Faustina ‘Fuzzy’ Agolley, so like them, the new presenter needs to be able to fill the screen with their own brand of warmth and excitement,” Brown said.
“To apply, all you need to do is visit the cybershack.com website, follow the prompts to the competition, then attach a link to a 60-second video of yourself talking about your favourite technological gizmo or gadget.”
A shortlist will be chosen from the entries and auditions will be held between September 23 and 27 so the winner can start filming in time for CyberShack TV’s return to the Nine Network on Sunday, October 24, at 12.00 noon.
CyberShack TV is Australia’s only 30-minute, free-to-air television program dedicated to looking at the fast-growing and evolving consumer electronics and home entertainment industry. From the latest in GPS systems, 3D televisions and wireless games, right through to what is happening to fight cybercrime, CyberShack TV is the place for information on all things technology.
