GO! Premiere of Nikita pushes Fringe Back, Human Target returns

Just when you thought it was safe to look forward to the return of Fringe on GO, they put it back – until November.

As reported yesterday on Throng, Fringe was supposed to return with season 3 at 9.30pm Thursday October 28. Now GO have decided to put on the premiere of Nikita at that time instead.

As a result, Fringe will now not air until 9.30pm Wednesday November 10. Back to its original night, just a different time. It also will no longer compete with Caprica on 7mate on Thursday nights.

Fringe fills the timeslot that will be vacated by Spartacus: Blood and Sand, which has its final episode at 9.30pm Wednesday November 3. Dark Blue will last be seen on GO Wed Oct 13, and then moves to GEM from November 2 for the final two episodes of its first season.

Those wondering when Human Target is coming back – your questions have now been answered! Human Target will now continue at 8.30pm Wednesdays from Wednesday Oct 20.

That change means that Two and a Half Men will no longer be seen on GO on Wednesday nights, and puts to rest the questions as to whether Nine would allow The Big Bang Theory to play on the main channel while having Two and a Half Men on GO. Thankfully not.

What are the songs channel go are playing in their latest promos? I searched for the ‘tick tock all eyes on me’ one and I can’t find it. There’s also the one from the Nikita Promo.

BTW: This Nikita is set to suck in the basic premise that the actress playing Nikita has the ability to clobber the goons she does. La Femme Nikita’s Peta Wilson is tall and solid and it dosen’t stretch the imagination that she could kick the crap out of the bad guys. This latest chick looks like they could snap her like a twig. Also, it looks like a badly watered-down version of both La Femme Nikita and Luc Besson’s Nikita.

    ROLL ON FRINGE!

That song in the GO promos is promotional music only and not (at this stage) set to be released for sale anywhere.

Shame really becuase there are SOOO many people liking the song and who want a copy – could be some money to be made there! The GO Facebook page is hit with the question all the time.
