Ten programming gets a bit of a shake up in the second last week of the 2010 ratings survey with the Junior Masterchef finale over two hours on Monday November 15, Glee off for a week due to pre-emptions in the US, and Bondi Vet concluding that week as well.

All new Simpsons continues with the latest season – season 22 on Friday nights, while Raising Hope premieres on Wednesday night of that week. There is also a bonus episode of Modern Family on the Wednesday night – being the Halloween special for 2010 – a few weeks late is better than not being on until 2011!

Interesting to see Ten showing a sneak peek of Raising Hope pilot ahead of its full season in 2011. But, according to The Futon Critic website in the US, there is a new episode of Glee in the US on November 16 and 23 but TBA on November 30. And with Junior MasterChef finishing one week early, what programs is Ten planning to show in the final week of ratings season?

The Glee we see on Nov 10 will be hours after it airs in the US. Then they have one on the 16th – which we will see on the 24th (I assume) – then that’s it until 2011. Not putting in Glee here for the 17th might be Ten playing it safe, seeing that Glee has been off every second week in the US recently – which has allowed us to catch up even though we had two weeks off for the Comm Games.

My guesses for the final week: Undercover Boss Australia moves to 7.30 Monday for its season finale, so Good News Week can have a two hour final at 8.30. Tuesday remains the same with TAYG 7.30, NCIS 8.30, NCIS LA rpt 9.30, Glee back in Wednesday, and Thursday Recruits returns to finish its episodes. Joneses remains at 8pm. Rush has two hour finale.

Having said all that, Modern Family would therefore remain on Sunday night, and possibly Raising Hope as well moves to Sunday unless it will play over summer. Offspring finishes that Sunday, perhaps something one off at 7.30 Sunday or even 6.30 and put Modern Family at 7.30…. it’s the night of the final X Factor as well so will be interesting to see what Ten do 6.30-8.30 Sunday for the final week.

I forget to mention a Christmas-themed episode of Glee (called “Yuletide”) will be shown in the US on December 7, with Sony Music releasing a Christmas album performed by the Glee cast in the US and Australia around that time. If Ten waits until February to show “Yuletide” that will make the episode irrelevant. How about showing it on the week of December 19 leading into Christmas?

WHY ARE IS TEN PUTTING GLEE SEASON 2 ON PAUSE AGAIN?!?…One of the reasons why US put GLEE season 2 on break for 2 weeks, so that us Aussies can catch up & if we get another break we will be 1 week behind yet again!!!…that show is suppose to be on channel Eleven, why can’t you guys wait until you launch the channel next year, or play it another day or better launch the channel on November 2010!!!

@ Johnson – agree – hoping Ten see the sense here.
