
The recently announced state memorial service for Dame Joan Sutherland OM AC DBE, will be broadcast live on ABC1 from the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House nationally on Tuesday, November 9 at 10:30am.
The 75-minute broadcast will also screen live in Federation Square, Melbourne.
The memorial service will feature recorded highlights of Dame Joan’s career and the Opera Australia chorus will perform.
Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Dame Joan’s son, Adam Bonynge, will both speak at the service.
