Max has been a trainee lifeguard for 3 years. the problem is lifeguard traineeships are only meant to go for 2 years. It’s now up to Head Lifeguard Hoppa to decide if Max will finally earn his stripes. or whether rival trainee Jake is going to get the nod. Jake gets a finalchance to show his stuff when left to man the tower alone.
Senior lifeguards set off to attend to a body identified at the base of the cliffs behind Bondi golf course. Not knowing whether the person is dead or alive. Beardy must dive into the surf and scale the rocks.
Later. Max gets called to a job of a very different kind-a 6 foot shark earlier trapped in the nets has been spotted floating dead amongst swimmers at North Bondi. so he and Troy must bring it back to shore. They soon discover the task is not going to be as easy as first thought.
