Bondi’s lifeguards have gained much notoriety for their courage and devotion in the surf. but there’s one lifeguard who is far more well known. The world’s most famous lifeguard. David ‘The Hoff Hasselhof comes to Bondi and does his best mixing it up with the boys in blue. Not content just to rest on his Hollywood laurels ‘The Hoff redirects swimmers into the flags and drives the jetski. even performing a simulated rescue.
On the same day a realrescue tests lifeguards when an Indian family get into trouble. one after another. each going to the aid of the other. Quickly. the father and son find themselves in great danger and an urgent job for lifeguards.
On the promenade a lost young girl puzzles lifeguards by not speaking. Eventually they discover she’s from a small island in the Pacific and doesn’t speak English. Lifeguards aren’t surprised she’s lost. when they learn she is one of eight children in her family.
An English skateboarder crash lands head first in the skate bowl. badly splitting his head open. He doesn’t want an ambulance but when he can’t tell Hoppo what day it is. his transport options quickly become limited.
