
Programming Amendments Update March 30, 2011
1. So which channel does the Nanny belong to?
From this Saturday, April 2, GEM has put the Nanny back on at 6pm Saturdays and Sundays. Double episodes of Friends remain at 6pm weekdays on GEM, while the Nanny also remains on GO! at 7pm Tue – Thur.
The Nanny episodes that air on GEM on the weekends are from season 6, while GO has started from the first season.
2. Ten Oprah on Saturday evening
Sydney only: The Oprah Winfrey Show will air at 7pm Saturday April 9 instead of Bondi Vet. This episode features Justin Bieber, who will perform his first hit “Baby”.
3. Undercover Boss on Monday
7.30pm Monday April 4 on Ten will be Undercover Boss, featuring MGM Grand. That is instead of 2011: 100 Days of Disaster – a show now bumped out of the schedule twice.
4. Big AFL day for Adelaide April 9
Adelaide only: On April 9, Ten in Adelaide will air three AFL games. The one they’ll care most about in the city of churches will be at 5.30pm when Adelaide take on Fremantle. At 8.30pm is Richmond Vs Hawthorn and Western Bulldogs play the Gold Coast Suns at 1.30pm.
5. 7TWO Tuesday night movies at 9.30pm.
Maybe its school holidays, maybe its just ratings, but 7TWO have returned movies to Tuesday nights at 9.30pm from next Tuesday April 5.
The April 5 movie is Overboard from 1987 and on April 12, Seems Like Old Times from 1980. As a result, Hale & Pace moves to a start time around 11.40, after the movie, while Going Straight and the Carry On movies that were airing after 10.30pm are out.
