Things heat up as My Kitchen Rules heads to the Northern Territory

MY KITCHEN RULES ventures to the Northern Territory next week for a three-day adventure.

The teams are pushed to the limit as they battle for survival in the blistering heat. The flies and insects also prove problematic, particularly for NSW contestant Bella.

Bella – who admits she suffers from an irrational phobia of flying insects – breaks down crying after something flies down her top during Monday’s night episode.

The outback odyssey begins in the Red Centre. On Monday, the remaining teams must cook over fires at a cattle station, with no electrical appliances or running water. The team with the best dish – as judged by cattle farmers – will win the People’s Choice and be safe for the week.

The weakest team – as chosen by the judges – will head straight to Wednesday night’s Sudden Death Cook-off where they will face elimination.

On Tuesday night, the Northern Territory adventure continues as they board the Ghan. How will they fare cooking in some of the world’s tiniest kitchens aboard a moving train on the way to Darwin?

On Wednesday night, they’re in Darwin when the competition is rocked by an unexpected turn of events.

MY KITCHEN RULES airs Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7.30pm on Channel 7.
