Once again, they ALL come from the Nine network.
1. What A Year gone from GEM
From tomorrow night, April 6, What a Year, hosted by Bert Newton is replaced by UK series As Time Goes By. What A Year was airing at 7.30pm Wednesdays on GEM.
Now As Time Goes By can be seen on GEM Wednesday 7.30 & 8.00, Thursday 7.30 and Sunday 7.30 & 8.00.
2. Change to Friday 7.30pm on Nine Melbourne
AFL markets only: 20-1 is out, and replaced with a Two and a Half Men repeat at 7.30pm and Motorway Patrol at 8pm. Wow – that’s two shows hosted by Bert Newton bumped out of the schedule of a Nine channel this week. Coincidence?
3. Big Bang comes to 7pm earlier.
Just yesterday, it was confirmed that Nine would air the Big Bang Theory at 7pm from Monday April 18 in all markets, after having been on at 7pm in Brisbane only. Now, it will air at 7pm from Monday April 11 – but it won’t be starting from the pilot. At 7pm Monday April 11, is S1E11, the episodes play sequentially until Friday when S1E15 airs.
Then, Monday April 18, its back to S1E1 the pilot as planned. Presumably, S1E6 will therefore air Monday April 25, then the following week would skip the five episodes played next week S1E11-S1E15 – assuming this programming remains.
Come on, Nine, time to come up with something new for 7pm.
[UPDATED]
4. Two and a Half Men 8pm Tuesday
In order for Nine to avoid three Big Bangs in a row on Tuesdays, they have replaced the 8pm Tuesday repeat of Big Bang with a Two and a Half Men repeat. From next Tuesday, April 12.
