Feildel tipped for success on DWTS and beyond

Manu Feildel has been installed as the favourite to take out Dancing with the Stars this year and has been tipped for even more success one the show ends.

The chef has proven to be a hit with both the judges and viewers on the show this season and Seven are keen to use him more.

Seven execs are likely to explore the possibility of shaping a series around Feildel and the chef himself admits the attention he receives, especially that from female fans, is good for the ego.

“I wouldn’t be lying if I didn’t say I enjoy it, obviously being a man, but it is very strange,” he said.

“But I am single.

“I’m really busy and don’t have time for romance at the moment.”

Feildel credits Australia as the key to his success in both the culinary world and the television industry.

“I think if I was back in Europe now there is no way I would be where I am now,” Feildel said.

“It’s so great and relaxed here, and so far away from the rest of the bulls – in the rest of the world.

“If you want to get something and go for something here, you can. The best move I ever made was moving to this country.”
