Come Fly With Me will screen in the regions after all with TV bosses deciding lifting the ban on the British comedy series.
Regional TV networks WIN and NBN have backed down from their stance on the series, initially shelving the screening of the premiere out of fear it would offend regional viewers.
City viewers crowded to Channel Nine on Monday night to watch the premiere, which came in at second place behind MasterChef in the ratings.
However, due to the protest by regional viewers who took to social networking websites to express their anger at WIN and NBN, the show will screened after all.
The series will begin screening from next Monday, at 8pm.
