A heavyweight contest of epic proportions is poised to play out on the green next week (25/6) when Scotland’s Paul Foster confronts England’s Merv King in the crucial eighth rubber from the Moama International.
Fresh off his recent victory at the World Indoor Championships, Foster will be intent on keeping Scotland’s hopes alive in the invitational lawn bowls tri-series, with Australia currently topping the standings.
Standing in his way, however, is King, a fierce English competitor, who has enjoyed some epic duels with his fellow Brit over the years.
