John Wood reveals details of his Neighbours character

The latest addition to the Neighbours cast has dropped a few details regarding his character.

Veteran actor John Wood, who will make his debut later in the year on the soap, revealed a few details of his character Martin Chambers to TV Week recently.

“He’s the head of surgery at Erinsborough Hospital,” Wood said. “He’s very focused and ambitious and doesn’t suffer fools – so he could be a good bloke or a villain, depending on what he thinks of you.” 

Wood says there will be “considerable conflict” between his character and that of Alan Fletcher’s character Karl Kennedy.

He will also clash with new doctor Rhys Lawson, played by Ben Barber, who is set to join the Neighbours cast in the coming months.
