Home & Away - Thursday 30.6.11

So after Heath broke into Irene’s place last night and threatened Bianca, she is of course too afraid to make a formal complaint. Let’s face it, Heath standing there creepily would be enough to put anybody off I guess. Charlie comes over to check on things, but somehow manages to cop the blame for Heath’s behaviour. How dare she aggrevate Heath yesterday… you know, by doing her job or whatever. Now it may only be beacuse I actually really like Charlie’s character, but honestly, everybody always seems to blame Charlie. No matter what she does. The way people turn on her in this town is crazy. It must be hard being the only police officer in town… well there are more wandering around in the background I guess, but mainly it’s just Charlie chasing the criminals on her own. And since the River Boys came to town, well her work seems to have suddenly tripled!

Casey flunks his trial exams and takes the news quite badly. Ruby, being the annoying girlfriend that she is follows him around the school asking what score he got until the poor boy snaps. He yells at Ruby in the schools hallway, and gets that Braxton look in his eyes like he is going to punch someone. And since Ruby is in his direct fire, well it’s enough to shut her up anyway. Xavier jumps in, Casey punches him, and bang, Casey is suspened from school for 2 weeks. Oh well, I think I heard someone say it was school holidays anyway? When Ruby stops by to see him later, he informs her that he has dropped out of school and now has a job at the fish market with his Mum. Number 1, damn that was some quick decision making, and Number 2, yes that boy is a catch…

Speaking of Xavier, man that guy is clueless. I’m actually starting to feel bad for him for not realising that his girlfriend is now very interested in Xavier. They ‘like each other with a capital L’, so clearly this is serious stuff. April and Dexter are getting very close, very quickly, and April just can’t seem to find the right moment to tell Xavier that she has been kissing someone else. In her defence, the excuse of “I couldn’t tell him, he had a sore face” was a fair call.

Charlie is out with the speed gun (cause she really is the only cop in this town), and catches Heath’s car speeding down the road. When she pulls the car over however, it’s Heath’s mum. What a letdown. But really, could they have got a dodgier looking woman to play the Braxton’s mother? She definately fits the part, that’s for sure. Brax tries to get his mother out of the ticket, but Charlie stands her ground (good on her!). Oh well, clearly the next logical thing to do after this is to have a bath together? I do like Charlie and Brax together as a couple, but honestly where is that relationship going? I don’t know how Charlie goes from being all suspicious of Brax one minute, to all flirty with him the next?

A drunken Heath stops by to see Bianca again, and she sends Charlie a text saying HELP. This is of course intercepted by Brax, who deletes it, tells Charlie he has to go and heads over there himself. All while Charlie has dropped her bath robe and is standing there with little to no clothes on in front of him. Considering he still leaves, well the guy has some serious will power. Turns out Heath just wanted to talk, and Bianca using him has possibly upset him a bit?

Well, you do tend to get what you give…
