The Braxton’s friend Tegan makes an annoyance of herself tonight…. She is apparantly an ‘on again, off again’ old girlfriend of Brax, but she appears to be quite close to the rest of the family too (suspiciously close to Heath, and the way Casey was asking if he gets to see her… well it makes me think that this chick just might have had it off with all the Braxton brothers). She was hassling Brax about his new girlfriend last night, but goes into full blown detective mode tonight. Her number one source… Colleen of course. Colleen is hesitant at first, especially as she remembers Tegan as the girl who ‘had her school dress hitched so high the boys could see her underwear’, but she was soon in fine form. Wouldn’t expect any less from Colleen really?
Tegan spots Brax talking to Charlie, and witnesses a bit of laughing and flirting on the beach. She puts together that, along with all Colleen’s information about Casey and Ruby and Brax and the cops, and oh dear… looks like Tegan knows who Brax’s mystery woman is afterall. And she is not happy about it. Tegan confronts Charlie, who very casually brushes the whole thing off “um, not sure why I need to be hearing this about Brax, but thanks”. Tegan calls her bluff and tells her “their secret isn’t safe with her”. Very threatening…
Charlie tells Brax they have a problem, and he says he will take care of it. My first thought was that he was perhaps going to ‘make her disapppear’ if you know what I mean, but no… a simple threatening the life out of her seemed to suffice. That guy can be very menacing when he wants to be. So it looks like Charlie and Brax’s relationship was almost out of the bag… surely they can’t keep it a secret for much longer can they?
Casey spends the night on the couch instead of in Ruby’s bed, and Charlie is actually really nice to him. It could have been because she wanted information about Tegan, but I think mainly she is starting to warm to the Braxton boys… well Brax and Casey at least, Heath not so much…
The other big event in tonight’s episode was that Marilyn and Sid split up. So sad, especially the way she had to just pack up all her things and get out of the house like that. She was upset that she didn’t even get to say goodbye to Dexter or explain things to Indy, and I would be too. Marilyn and Sid have been together a while, and sometimes Marilyn was more of a parent to them than their own Dad was. So I am very down on Sid about this. Marilyn goes back to living with Miles, and Sid sits at home in the dark looking at Indy and Romeo’s wedding pictures. I’m guessing he’s not going to wait long before he tries it on with Roo again then is he…?
