Some more major Karl and Susan drama tonight. Karl is pretty psyched for the big trip to Peru, spending almost all of his time at the gym. Susan is still stuck with having to help Jim, who has now asked her to be his Medical Power of Attorney. Phwoar. How did Susan manage to end up in this situation? Just as she’s sifting through the paperwork (at Charlie’s, of course), that new doctor who just had it off with Kate (I’ll remember his name one day), questions Susan about it. She says “it’s none of your business!”, and he leaves after an intense stare-off. Later, we see Karl and Susan together in tears. Susan doesn’t want to make any decisions for him, and regrets making him that dependent on her, because now it’s too late for her to walk away. Karl (kind of) understands – I’m sure he just wants to hurry up and get to Peru.
Jade has also decided that she wants to be with Kyle. But she’s terrified to do anything about it, especially with Kyle flustering around Kate every three seconds. With a little whinging to and help from Sonya (I keep forgetting they’re sisters, as they look nothing alike), it seems like Jade will be ready to confess her love for him over dinner. Bless.
