Neighbours - 27/07/2011

Mixed bag of an episode tonight. Lucas wants to get rid of the ‘burden’ that is his inheritance, and put it towards something good. Why must people always do that on TV? Just keep the money, and save it for the future. But whatever. So Lucas decides to truly get rid of it, by offering Sonya the money to buy the community garden. But Toadie is a little suss about it all, for obvious reasons. But it’s all for Sonya’s ‘dream’, right?

Callum and Sophie got a bit of air-time tonight. After deciding that they wanted to take up music (Callum taking it a bit too far by doing a cringe-worthy air guitar solo, as everybody walks away), but according to the ‘cool’ guy with the weirdly occa accent, it’s lame. Wood work is the way to go apparently. But while Sophie enjoyed music, Callum wants to do wood work to get in with the popular crowd. Which has caused a huge rift in their friendship – are they over? No!

Tash is rebelling majorly – turning up late, interrupting the class, cheating on a test – but her dad’s the teacher, so why should she care? After being picked on in public, her self-esteem has hit rock bottom, and by the looks of it, she seems to be considering some kind of plastic surgery. Smart. There was also a little moment between her and Chris, and he got a little kiss on the cheek. Aw yeah.
