Brownlow Medal on Seven, September 26, 2011

The Brownlow Medal screens LIVE on Seven Melbourne on Monday September 26 at 8.15pm, with Bruce McAvaney hosting the prestigious count to find the winner of the AFL’s most coveted individual honour, the Charles Brownlow Medal.

The Brownlow Medal broadcast will feature:

·         A tribute to the role of AFL in the community at a local and international level with dual premiership captain Tom Harley.

·         ‘Lethal’ Leigh Matthews taking us back to one of his legendary moments.

·         Dennis Cometti, Leigh Matthews and Tim Watson presenting round-by-round highlights from the AFL Premiership season. 

·         A tribute to Australian sporting legends.

·         Matthew Richardson roving the floor and chatting with all the stars of the game.

Prior to the official count, Seven will also present an expanded, fashion-focused Brownlow Blue Carpet Special at 7.30pm, hosted by Hamish McLachlan.

He will be joined by former Miss Australia Rachael Finch, Women’s Health editor Felicity Harley and crowd favourite Matthew Richardson to see the stars of the AFL and their glamorous partners dressed in the latest haute couture, as they make their way into football’s night of nights.

The Brownlow Blue Carpet Special will also feature an analysis of the best and worst red carpet fashion in sporting award night history and the final verdict on who is the best dressed on the night.
