9:30pm – Friday, August 26 on ABC2
There’s a killer on the loose at the community centre where the five super-powered delinquents are paying their dues to society.
Violent and silly, funny and subversive, crude and occasionally scary, Misfits revels in the character interaction.
Tough, mouthy Kelly (Lauren Socha) reads minds, awkward Simon (Iwan Rheon) turns invisible, Curtis (Nathan Stewart-Jarrett) rewinds time, Alisha (Antonia Thomas) is insatiable, while Nathan (Robert Sheehan) turns out to be immortal.
Tonight, poor Nathan finds himself becoming an early victim, beaten to death within the first two minutes. “Why would anyone want to kill me?” he asks, as if there are not enough reasons.
Nathan blames a charity worker named Jessica (Zawe Ashton) for the fatal beating he receives after spying her in the change rooms half-naked.
Next morning, Alisha and Simon find Nathan in the locker room recovering from dying the night before. Nathan tries to warn the love-struck Simon away from Jessica.
Meanwhile, Kelly meets someone new – shy awkward fugitive Bruno (Richard Riddell), who doesn’t have a dishonest thought in his head. There’s an instant animal attraction between them.
Later in the night the gang attend the charity fancy dress party dressed as super heroes.
But Nathan fears the party is a perfect opportunity for Jessica to strike again and keeps her under surveillance…
