Channel 7 will air the Miss Universe Paegent on September the 13th at 10.30pm.
Scherri-Lee Biggs will represent Australia this year in the Donald Trump competition. Ex contestants include Rachael Finch, Erin McNaught, Laura Dundovic and winner Jennifer Hawkins.
Rachael Finch – competed in 2009 and was third runner up and has gone on to appear on Celebrity MasterChef and Dancing With the Stars.
Laura Dundovic – Placed 10th in 2008 and went on to host the reality dating series, ‘Dating In The Dark’ on Fox 8.
Erin McNaught – competed in 2006. She went on to host Cybershack and while filming partially severed a finger after a motorbike accident. McNaught also went on to appear in Neighbours and Good News Week. She currently hosts MTV Hits Weekly Hot 30 Countdown.
Jennifer Hawkins – won the title in 2004. She has been on The Great Outdoors, fronted the one season of Make Me A Supermodel and appeared on Dancing With The Stars.
Miss Universe 2011, the 60th anniversary of the Miss Universe pageant, will be held at the Credicard Hall, in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011. Ximena Navarrete of Mexico will crown her successor. 89 contestants are participating in this year´s pageant, surpassing the previous record of 86 contestants in 2006.
