Ten in crisis 2.
Sudden programming changes have become the norm now for any channel that is not performing up to expectation. In this case, it is Ten – even though timeslot changes rarely help shows improve their ratings, the real problem is not enough thought gone into the original line up to prevent changes.
Ten takes the lead now over the its commercial rivals with more programming changes than Seven and Nine combined.
Ten’s problem with Friday night. Law & Order franchises didn’t work, a last minute movie change didn’t work (honestly, who realistically thought it would), now, from this Friday (September 2) they are going for Hawaii Five-O repeats – two in fact, from 8.30-10.30, with the weekly Can Of Worms encore at 10.30pm.
On Sunday night (as already reported) The Renovators moves to 6.30pm, with Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation at 7.30pm – it also remains scheduled for 8.30pm next Wednesday at this stage. That leaves the Bondi Vet finale out of the schedule – although, if Ten were smart here, they’d use Bondi Vet at 8pm Thursdays over the next two weeks instead of the Modern Family repeat.
Monday remains as scheduled, with the Can Of Worms finale at 8.30pm and the premiere of Good News World at 9.30pm. Tuesday is NCIS at 8.30 and 9.30 the special Children of 9/11 while Wednesday, as mentioned, still has Your Gen at 8.30pm, followed by NCIS at 9.40pm.
Thursday Sept 8 is Rush at 8.30 and Law & Order; SVU repeat at 9.30pm. Friday Sept 9 has not been confirmed yet.
