Even though we own the DVD and have watched it hundreds of times, we almost always end up leaving Monsters Inc on when it airs on Seven for the kids. Life is good for monsters James and Mike until one night after work Sulley accidentally lets a little human girl into his world.

Doctor Who, ABC1, 7.30pm
Let’s Kill Hitler. The Doctor returns to face monsters and mysteries and adventures all across time and space.

IAAF World Championships 2011, 8pm, SBS TWO
The event that has given SBS TWO its highest rating shares ever! It continues tonight. The 13th World Championships in Athletics from Daegu Stadium, Daegu, South Korea. Day 8: Finals.

The Biggest Loser (US), ELEVEN, 8.30pm
The final four contestants go home for 30 days, reunite with friends and family and experience firsthand the challenge of continuing to make diet and exercise a priority in the real world.
