This is the last episode before tomorrow nights final – that will feature the three 17 year old model wanna-be’s – Simone, Liz and Montana (pictured above).
After last week’s elimination of Rachel, we are left with the final three. The girls say goodbye to the house and Sarah arrives. Now she says because the girls are packed – they are not going home, but on a model assignment in Dubai!
The girls will have two final fashion shoots in Dubai. The girls head off to the airport and know it’s game on. They head to business class and wow – it’s stunning! Now we are in Dubai already. The heat hits the girls and set off in a limo to their hotel – The Atlantis. Liz is excited as she saw the hotel on Getaway!
The suite is fabulous but the view of sandstorms – not so much. The girls head to a gazebo on the beach and are served drinks by their butler and a Sarah mail. Sarah says – “As a top model you will get to travel the world and experience things you never thought possible …. Dubai is steeped in some incredible riches and it’s time for you girls to discover the city and meet some of the people”
The girls head off in a stretch limo to a square full of men looking at them. Their Dubai fan club! The girls head by boat to meet a lady who takes them to the spice market. Simone thinks that the women there just wore black because it was slimming! Not realising it was a custom. Really! She also didn’t know you could have milked a camel (either did Montana to be fair).
The girls see the riches of gold in Dubai and try on belts and tiaras – this is meant to be inspiration for the next photo shoot. The girls get a Sarah mail telling them to head to the Bastakiya Quarter for their first photo shoot. At the Quarterthe girls meet up with their photographer, Georges Antoni – and the girls are smitten. The girls will need to show the intrigue and mystique of Arabic women. The girls will wear 1960′s inspired fashion, from top designers with an Arabic twist. The girls will be wearing winter clothes in the sweltering heat.
The girls get made up and Montana is made to wear a thick coat and scarf and looks fantastic and Georges is very happy. Next is Simone, in ridiculously high and thin stiletto boots. Simone whinges about the shoes, her jacket, the basket and heat. Her shoot is cut short due to her heat exhaustion. Georges carries her off set – to Simone’s delight.
Liz is up, trying to get intencity and Georges is extremely impressed. Now for the three girls to do a joint shoot – that Simone joins. Georges says that Liz is a close second behind Montana – but would love to work with all three.
The phone rings and it’s Sarah! The girls are about to go swimming with dolphins at Dolphin Bay at their hotel. Liz, Montana and Simone have to kiss a dolphin for 5 seconds and get to have a dance and ride with them. Back at the suite, Georges, the photographer arrives and says that this photo shoot will be harder than yesterdays. The girls will be photographed in the desert on the sand dunes.
It’s boiling hot and Simone is first – she looks great in white, Liz is in red and the wind blows her over – no wonder you can see ribs! She laughs it off! She’s such a good sport! Montana is in electric blue and looks very 1970′s. Job well done by all.
The three lovely ladies head to a feast by camel! Simone thinks her camel is ignoring her – well it does have ears! The girls are off in their frocks over sand dunes when they see there luxury dinner. While enjoying their feast they recieve another Sarah mail, telling them she will see them at the finale tomorrow night at the Opera House.
The girls discuss how much they have grown over the last three months – knowing tomorrow there will only be one winner.
Sarah, Charlotte Dawson and Alex Perry are at the Opera House with the girls photograppher Georges Antoni, to judge the final pictures of season 7. He says that their was drama and a model rolling down a sand dune. The first is Liz and her first pic gets great feedback. Alex says it looks like she has been working for years and Sarah says she has a classsic beauty – like Hepburn or Taylor.
Simone looks beautiful Dawson says, while Murdoch says she hasn’t got the face for high end fashion and hasn’t delivered. Montana is flawless and is believable and very now. In the group shot Montana stands out the most – and Simone is the weakest.
On the second shoot, on the sand dunes, Simone looks amazing, Liz is fierce and has given amazing shape to the clothes. Montana has given Sarah tingles and is supermodel material. The judges vote – Alex chooses Liz, Charlotte chooses Montana while Sarah goes with Montana as does Georges.
The judges are nervous about tomorrow night and Alex quips “Especially if you’ve got an envelope with you” in reference to last years bungle.
