Celebrity Apprentice Australia Season One – All Fired Up #1

Ok, so these All Fired Up specials are supposed to be the Celebrity Apprentice’s answer to The Block’s Unlocked specials. The thing with The Block Unlocked was that there was added material in the form of open inspections. I also found that it was good for storytelling purposes. However, it seems that All Fired Up will not be used for storyline purposes or will not offer new material and will just be a showcase of ‘specials’. If this is the case, I won’t be blogging these past this blog as you and I can assume that all the information contained in this episode has already aired. Rest assured I will continue to watch the episodes in case there is anything worth noting. Any special requests to continue All Fired Up blogging will also be taken into consideration (don’t bother commenting that this blog SHOULDN’T be done as this is the default option, so to speak).

The episode begins as the season did; with that glamorous ‘party’. We see that Warwick made a few lewd comments to Deni but other than that, we’ve seen this all before- how the teams were chosen and how they found out about their first challenge.

We have a look at the challenge and the controversial choosing of that name; Bouris’ Babes. Without all the hectic blogging, I’ve been able to enjoy the perks of this show- like Julia’s comments. Oh and how funny was it when she mocked Pauline for saying ‘resonitates’!

Again, other than this, nothing to note here; except for more of Julia’s comments. For example;

About Jesinta’s body when she strips to her bikinis: ‘Seriously, if I had a body like that, I wouldn’t wear clothes!’

We are reminded of when Pauline had to wash the car in that underwear and I noticed that Deni did actually sing on that occasion; before being reminded that she was paid $10,000 for it.

After the break, we are sent back into the board room for the first elimination. The highlight of this had to be Bouris’ outrage at the name ‘Bouris’ Babes’ and Julia’s previously unseen rebuttal; ‘I don’t mind being called a babe!’

As we know, the girls won and Warwick was fired! Aww. Some funny unseen footage yet again from Julia when Polly mentions that no one will loose in this and Julia says that someone ‘totally will’.

We get to see some behind the scenes thoughts from the contestants about Warwick and a best bits feature for the fallen star. Most people found him funny, but saw his faults in this show.

The best part had to be when a massive stamp saying ‘fired’ was planted over his smug face.

Now to some new content and we get to see Jesinta give her cheque for the money they earned in Monday’s challenge to Reach Australia. Some guy then discusses his life and how it has been improved by Reach Australia which actually does some pretty good work.

The woman who accepts the cheque is very thankful.

After the break, we get to relive Wednesday’s KFC challenge. Polly is on the confessions couch and is very bitter about the whole thing. ‘Pauline said she ran a fish and chip shop when she was younger. I guess Chicken and Fish- Not the same thing!’

We also see Julia schmooze the boss, Tony, in some sort of attempt to win brownie points.

We see the contestants take the KFC aptitude test which is a paper written test. They all failed the test and had to start again. Haha, and that’s WITH cheating.

Remember how Lisa had to do the mopping as her chore (and failed), well that was because she failed a quiz!

Polly mentions the robot the shop got as a bit of show out the front and we cut to a shot of an air tube robot guy you usually see outside car dealers on sale days, and Deni. I wonder who she was talking about!

And all of a sudden, we’re back to a break! God, they don’t have much to use in this episode, do they! I guess this was only put in to fill some time.

After the break, it is time to see the boardroom elimination of Polly. We are reminded of Deni’s hate for the non-celebrity renovator and Polly reveals that she will let them all off the hook if they raise a million dollars.

We then get a recap and best bits package of her time on the show and I’ve come to the conclusion that she really is a celebrity. She appeared on a high rating show, won it, and is recognised in public. She is also the only person, as I’ve said, that I cared to watch on this.

To finish the show, we see Shane take a jog for charity and then present the cheque with the money he won in the challenge to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

The celebrities are now down to ten, so what is in store for next week?

So that is it and while there was a bit of new content, it was mostly repeated stuff. What do you guys think? Post a comment if you want me to keep publishing this!

I was surprised that there was actually some new content. It seems at this point 43 people were interested in reading this blog post, which is more than what Unlocked got in a couple of hours. I don’t NOT want to blog this; I may just end up pasting it at the bottom of my Elimination blog for all interested.

Again, I will keep a close eye to see how this rates and what this show has in store for next week. After all, it’s only on for a few weeks at the very most anyway.
