As his musical homage to Michael Jackson opens with glowing tributes and audience adulation, millionaire producer David King reflects on the Man in the Mirror project and what it means for his show business reputation.
After 15 years in the business, bringing some of the biggest stage musicals to fruition, he muses whether his latest venture has been a thriller or a reputation killer.
Much as he credits his talented and tireless crew for the fantastic success of Man in the Mirror, which ran three weeks at Monte Carlo and then toured the world for two years, he says the only person involved with the show who is irreplaceable is himself.
He says a steady hand on the tiller and nerves of steel are needed when millions of dollars are concerned.
