The seventh Hyundai A-League season has begun with a bang delivering FOX SPORTS’ highest rating regular season match between Harry Kewell’s Melbourne Victory and Brett Emerton’s Sydney FC with 153,000 viewers tuning in to see the historic clash.
In addition, the opening round shown LIVE and EXCLUSIVE on FOX SPORTS delivered its all-time highest rating season opener, drawing an average audience of 74,000 across the five matches – an increase of 36 per cent on last season’s corresponding round.
Complementing FOX SPORTS LIVE and EXCLUSIVE Hyundai A-League coverage will be a new look A-League Highlights Show hosted by two of the game’s most respected authorities in Simon Hill and Andy Harper each Monday at 7.30pm.
Launching tonight, Hill and Harper will provide viewers with a weekly wrap-up of the weekend’s matches, in-depth analysis utilising FOX FIELD technology, along with a look at the best goals and highlights of each round.
FOX SPORTS is the only place to watch all the Hyundai A-League action with LIVE, UNINTERRUPTED and HIGH DEFINITION coverage of all 142 matches in the 2011/12 season.
