The Nine-GO! Big Bang Over Saturation Situation. 17 episodes in one week!

After the success of new episodes of Big Bang Theory last night on Nine, the network has opted to switch back to airing Big Bang on weeknights at 7pm, once again pushing out Two and a Half Men.

In doing so though, they have also left Big Bang on GO! at 6.30pm Monday to Thursday – so on those nights, you can watch an hour of Big Bang between the two channels if you chose.

Given that Nine are airing new episodes at 7.30pm Monday, repeats at 8pm Monday, 7.30 Tuesday and 8pm Tuesday, and adding on a further 3 episodes that air on GO! on Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Wednesday nights, that certainly is alot of Big Bang Theory!

By my calculations, 17 episodes a week between the two channels – a whole season worth basically! 5 on Monday, 4 Tuesday, 3 each Wednesday and Thursday, one on Friday and one on Sunday as well. Saturday remains the only day Big Bang free.

Having written about the number of times Big Bang airs on Nine and GO! an number of times before, this is definitely a new record for the most number of episodes in a single week.

Note that Celebrity Apprentice Australia will take over 7pm weeknights on Nine from October 24.
