Winners & Losers to air in UK

The Seven Network’s new Australian drama ‘Winners and Losers’ has been sold to popular UK digital channel ITV2.

Season one and two (To air here in 2012), have been sold to the overseas channel and are expected to debut in 2012.

‘Winners and Losers’ follows the lives of four different women, Bec, Jenny, Frances and Sophie, who reunite after a 10 year High School reunion.

ITV Director of Digital Channels and Acquisitions, Angela Jain, said: “I am delighted we have bought Winners and Losers for ITV2. It’s a quietly addictive drama with a distinctive Australian charm that I hope will become a weekly treat for our viewers.”

The drama series premiered in March on Seven in Australia and performed strong for the network. The second season airs in 2012 in Australia.
