Their partnership renewed, Walt and Jesse resume production in their super lab in order to meet drug kingpin Gus’s quota.
And though Walt (Bryan Cranston) is focused on the task at hand, Jesse (Aaron Paul) is unhappy when, after making some back-of-the-envelope calculations, he realises that they are being paid a pittance compared to what Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) is making on the deal.
Making matters worse, when Jesse points out they are delivering more than promised, Walt doesn’t seem to care.
Unbeknown to Jesse, Walt negotiates a long-term deal with Gus that will net them millions more than originally promised. Unaware of the untold riches that await him, Jesse hatches a plan to siphon off drugs from Gus’s shipments for him and his pals to sell on their own.
Meanwhile, in the wake of the latest assessment by Hank’s (Dean Norris) spinal surgeon, Marie (Betsy Brandt) begins to see just how difficult – and expensive – his rehabilitation will be.
But when both the doctor and the hospital administrator advise her to adhere closely to the insurance company guidelines, Marie vows to do whatever it takes to see that Hank walks again.
Watching Marie prepare to go on the warpath against their health insurance company, Skyler (Anna Gunn) comes up with a plan to pay for Hank’s rehab.
