Three Wishez Eliminated From The X Factor

Ronan Keating said goodbye to his last remaining group on The X Factor tonight, with Sydney trio Three Wishez being eliminated from the competition.

On losing his last contestant, mentor Ronan Keating said, “I’m devastated to see these guys go home. Australia is going to miss out, there’s nobody like them. I hope to get their winner’s single out there on the radio, they deserve this chance!”

After being eliminated, Sophia from Three Wishez, said, “We just want to say thank you so much to everyone. We’re so lucky to be in the Top 4 and I’m so proud of us to get this far.” Joseph said, “This isn’t the end for us, it’s just the beginning.”

Both Ronan and Mel B now have no remaining contestants left in the competition, with Guy Sebastian holding onto two of his Under 25 boys, Reece Mastin and Johnny Ruffo. And Natalie Bassingthwaighte is still mentoring her Over 25s finalist, Andrew Wishart.

Tonight’s show featured performances by the legendary Stevie Nicks, Florence and the Machine and new UK singer Ed Sheeran.

Next week, The X Factor goes into its final two shows for the big Grand Final. All the Top 12 will return over the two nights and feature the one and only Kylie Minogue, US rockers The Fray and hip-hop superstars Salt ‘n’ Pepa.
