The huge weekend of rugby will whet the appetite for fans, before Australia’s number one rugby commentary team call all the action of Australia’s clash with Wales LIVE from Millenium Stadium on December 4.
The world class action begins this Saturday with the Gold Coast Sevens, a newly-instated leg of the IRB Sevens World Series, which will feature an explosive young Australian team against the world’s best sevens nations including New Zealand, South Africa and Fiji.
The voice of rugby, Greg Clark, will join former Wallaby and FOX SPORTS analyst Greg Martin in commentary for the two-day tournament, where the Aussies will look to capture the inaugural Gold Coast crown.
Following a complete LIVE broadcast of the sevens event, FOX SPORTS will turn its attention to the Wallabies for LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of the opening Spring Tour match against the Barbarians at Twickenham.
The Wallabies will face an all-star team at the home of English Rugby, featuring cross-code fullback Sam Tomkins who will complete a unique double having played in the Four Nations Rugby League Final against Australia just last weekend.
Other stars lining up for the Barbarians include All Blacks World Cup heroes Jerome Kaino and Richard Kahui, veteran Springboks lock Victor Matfield, and former Wallabies skipper Stirling Mortlock. FOX SPORTS will be the only place to see the clash LIVE from 1.30am AEDT this Sunday morning (November 27).
The following weekend the Wallabies will conclude their short tour with a replay of the Rugby World Cup Bronze Playoff when they visit Wales at Millenium Stadium.
The nation’s most recognised and respected rugby commentary team of Greg Clark, Tim Horan and Rod Kafer will call the final Test of the year LIVE for FOX SPORTS subscribers, with pre-game coverage commencing at 1.15am AEDT hosted by Nick McArdle and Brendan Cannon.
