9:30pm – Monday, December 5 on ABC2
In the penultimate episode of series three of Breaking Bad Jesse has decided to seek the ultimate revenge for the death of his friend.
He begins by tracking down Wendy, his ex-girlfriend and a methaddicted prostitute who is a regular customer of the two dealers who used Andrea’s little brother, Tomas, to kill Combo.
And even though Walt (Bryan Cranston) refuses to secure the deadly poison he wants Wendy to slip into the gangsters’ lunch, Jesse (Aaron Paul) insists that he will do it on his own.
As Jesse persuades Wendy to sign on to his deadly plot Walt asks Saul (Bob Odenkirk) to help stop him.
When Walt suggests arranging for an arrest and some jail time to get Jesse off the street Saul turns to his private investigator, Mike.
However, after making it clear that his plan would end in disaster if Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) were to learn of it, Mike stops Jesse just as he is providing Wendy with the tainted food.
And after Mike unexpectedly delivers him to the farm that is Gus’s base of operations, Jesse is stunned to discover that, in an effort to protect him, Walt sold him out.
But when Jesse refuses to back down in the face of some ominous threats, Gus insists that everyone agree to a deal whereby the gangsters will stop employing children in exchange for Jesse calling off his plans to kill them.
Though he accepted the terms of Gus’s deal, Jesse isn’t happy about it. So when he learns the dealers reneged on the deal by killing Toms, Jesse cannot contain his rage.
