Phil is determined to prove that Luke is responsible enough to have a new bike. However, only minutes after Luke rides off on his new bike. Phil sees the bike carelessly left at the sidewalk. Phil decides to teach Luke a lesson.
Meanwhile Cameron and Mitchell are getting ready to attend their first toddler play class. Intent on making a
good first impression, and not drawing attention to their “gayness,” Mitchell worries about Lily’s development in comparison to other babies, all the while forcing Cameron to suppress his flamboyant personality.
Jay and Gloria are planning a romantic weekend getaway to Napa Valley while Manny is at Disneyland with his father. Before their flight, Gloria reminds Jay that he promised to help Manny install a ceiling fan in his room. She secretly planned the fan installation as a way to force a little one-on-one time. As they work on the fan Manny talks incessantly about his father, whom he regards as Superman. Jay notes that the only thing Manny’s father and Superman have in common is that they both landed in this country illegally.
