8:00pm – Wednesday, January 25 on ABC1
Outnumbered follows the daily chaos of family life with two parents and three young children locked in an unequal contest (hence the title).
Containing elements of improvisation, this comedy is an honest portrayal of the well meaning parental incompetence that happens in most homes, as Mum (Claire Skinner) and Dad (Hugh Dennis) attempt to raise their kids with the minimum of emotional damage for all concerned.
Experience the daily rollercoaster of family life as Mum and Dad try to keep up with the inquisitive and imaginative minds of their three hilarious offspring Jake (Tyger Drew-Honey), Ben (Daniel Roche) and Karen (Ramona Marquez.) In series four, the family is confronted by an array of issues ranging from death, drugs, terrorism and getting old, food science, Top Gear, to the joy of ventriloquism.
In this episode, there is a lot to discuss at Ben’s parents evening, including muggers, dangerous chemicals and re-enactments of the Great Plague. Mum is still suspicious Jake is hiding something and Karen decides which of the world’s great religions to lead.
